Deckanno card from GuessDash: Build a timeline from a four-card hand, with illustrated cards and a timeline

Deckanno is a daily timeline game on GuessDash. You hold four cards (inventions, people, songs, buildings or companies) and choose which to place on a growing timeline by year; there are seven decks each day, from a mixed deck to themed ones.

About Deckanno (GuessDash)

Deckanno is one of the daily games on GuessDash, a site of short geography and history puzzles. It takes the familiar timeline format, where you place events in order, and adds a hand of four cards. Instead of being forced to place whatever comes next, you pick which card to play, so choosing safe anchors before risky ones becomes part of the puzzle.

There are seven decks each day. Mix draws from every category of GuessDash's timeline cards; Inventions are placed by year, People and Historical Figures by birth year (modern lives and pre-1900 figures), Music by milestone year, Landmarks by opening or build year and Companies by founding year. Each deck is dealt the same way for every player on a given day, and played decks move to the end of the list so the next open one is easy to find.

GuessDash renews its games at midnight Netherlands time. Playing needs no account, though you can sign up.

It suits history and trivia fans who like ordering things by feel, and players of Sortanno, the site's one-card-at-a-time timeline.
