Crack the Code (Puzzleship)
Open the lock from someone else's failed attempts and what each got right.
Every day: Six numbered locks a day, from very easy to ultra hard and the same for everyone: find a lock's code from failed attempts and verdicts about which digits are right or well placed; past days are in an archive. New puzzle: Midnight in your own time zone, as the site states.

Crack the Code shows several failed attempts at a lock, each with a verdict: how many digits were right and whether they were in the right place, or that nothing was correct. No single clue gives the code away, but together they leave one.
About Crack the Code (Puzzleship)
Each clue pairs an attempted code with a plain-language verdict. Well placed digits are right and in the right spot; other digits may be present but elsewhere; and some clues say nothing in them is correct, which removes those digits from the puzzle entirely. You can mark digits as eliminated, present or locked as you reason.
The puzzle rewards keeping two ideas apart: a digit belonging to the code and a digit belonging in a particular place. Comparing two clues that share digits often pins one position down. Puzzleship also sells printable booklets of these locks.
Puzzleship publishes six locks of Crack the Code a day, graded from very easy to ultra hard. Each day's locks are numbered and dated, the same for every player, and appear at midnight in your own time zone; earlier days stay playable in the archive. The site is free with ads, and a premium plan removes them.
