Zipline: Zip Game (first released as Zip Puzzle) is an iPhone and iPad path puzzle by Penghua Chen. Start at 1, pass each number in order and fill every cell of the grid with one line. A new daily grid comes each day, easy on Monday and harder by Sunday, and seven levels of hand-made puzzles wait beside it. It is free with ads, and a Premium subscription takes them away.
About Zipline: Zip Game
Zipline: Zip Game is an iPhone and iPad app by Penghua Chen, out since February 2026 and first called Zip Puzzle. It plays the same kind of grid that LinkedIn's Zip made well known. A few cells carry numbers, some walls sit between cells, and one line has to start at 1, touch every number in order, end on the last one and cover every cell exactly once.
The Today screen holds the daily grid, with a strip for the days of the week above it. Monday's grid is gentle and the difficulty climbs until Sunday. The app times your solve and counts a streak of days in a row. Each puzzle also shows how many players have solved it.
Past the daily there are seven levels to play at your own pace, from a 4x4 Mini through Starter, Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert to a 9x9 Master with 350 boards. The maker says every puzzle is designed by hand. They are all stored on the phone, so the app works offline. Version 2.0 in October 2026 brought square number tiles and a board that rolls into place as you draw. It also added Misty Peaks, an ink-wash theme with a mountain scene behind each puzzle.
A tutorial teaches the rules, a hint button helps when you are stuck, and you can zoom in on large boards or turn the phone sideways to play. Stats track streaks, active days and solves by level, and there are achievements, some of them hidden. The app is free with ads. Premium costs $1.99 a month or $9.99 a year and removes the ads, with unlimited hints and more charts.
It suits players who like LinkedIn's Zip and want a daily grid on their phone with plenty more to solve afterwards.
How to play Zipline: Zip Game
- Open the Today screen and tap the day's grid to play.
- Put your finger on the cell numbered 1 and start drawing.
- Drag the line through the grid, reaching the numbers in order and going around the walls.
- Cover every cell once and finish on the highest number.
- Tap the bulb for a hint if you are stuck, then come back tomorrow to keep your streak.

Tips
- Look at corners and cells walled in on three sides first: there is only one way in and out.
- The path must reach every number in order, so cells far from the route between two numbers have to be picked up in a detour.
- Avoid cutting off a region of the grid: any area the line cannot get back into ruins the solve.
- Expect Sunday's grid to take longer than Monday's.
