Wordle Galego is a daily word game in Galician. Each day everyone gets the same hidden five-letter word and six tries to find it, with coloured letters after each guess and the word's meaning shown at the end.

About Wordle Galego

Wordle Galego describes itself as a daily word game ("un xogo de palabras diario"). Its rules, in Galician, say: guess the hidden word in six tries, a new word every day.

You type five-letter Galician words on a keyboard with ñ. After each guess the colour of the letters changes to show how close you are: one colour when the letter is in the word and in the right position, another when it is in the word but in the wrong position, and grey when it is not in the word. Guesses that are not in the dictionary are turned back.

When the game ends you can open the meaning of the day's word ("Significado de"), which makes it a small vocabulary lesson as well as a puzzle. Everyone playing on the same day gets the same word, and the hashtag #WordleGalego is used for sharing results.

The help card credits the adaptation to @mg_abraham, based on the Spanish Wordle by Daniel Rodríguez (@danielfrg).

It suits Galician speakers and learners.
