Wordle AST is the daily Wordle in Asturian. Each day there is one five-letter Asturian word for everyone, six tries to find it, and at the end the word's definition from the Asturian Language Academy's dictionary.

About Wordle AST (Wordle Asturianu)

Wordle AST (Wordle Asturianu) is "un xuegu con pallabres", a word game in Asturian with a new word every day. Its credits name it an initiative of PlayPresta and Cuatro Gotes Producciones, adapted by Softastur, with thanks to the Academia de la Llingua Asturiana.

The rules, in Asturian: guess the word in six tries; each try must be a valid five-letter Asturian word; press INXERTAR (Enter) to send it. After each try the tiles change colour to show how close you are: right letter in the right place, right letter in another place, or not in the word.

When the game ends, the statistics window shows today's word with its definition from the Diccionariu de la Llingua Asturiana (DALLA), a link to the full entry, a share button and a countdown to the next Wordle. The options include a hard mode (every letter found must be used again), a dark mode and colours for colour-blind players. The game does not register players or ask for data; analytics load only if you allow them.

It suits Asturian speakers and learners, and anyone curious about the language.

How to play Wordle AST (Wordle Asturianu)

  1. Open wordleasturianu.playpresta.com.
  2. Type a five-letter Asturian word and press Enter.
  3. Read the tiles: green for the right letter in the right place, yellow for a letter that is in the word elsewhere, grey for a letter not in the word.
  4. Find the word within six tries and come back the next day for a new one.

  • Asturian words often end in -u where Spanish has -o (gochu, xuegu); keep that in mind for endings.
  • Read the DALLA definition after each game to build vocabulary.
  • Turn on hard mode in the options for a stricter game.
