About Witcherdle (Trivle)

Witcherdle is one of the daily character games on Trivle, a site that runs the same format for several fantasy and game worlds, from Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere to The Witcher. It is an unofficial fan project, not endorsed by The Witcher's rights holders.

The board is a gallery of illustrated character cards, from Adda the White and Avallac'h to Calanthe and Ciri, with a search box above it and a count of tries left, thirty to start. You click a card or type a name to guess, and each guess is compared with the day's secret character on their traits, allegiances, appearances and story details. Green marks an exact match, yellow a partial one, and no colour a miss.

A new character comes at midnight UTC, with a countdown to the next round in the header. Beside the daily game there is a Practice mode for extra rounds, a leaderboard, and a Collection of the characters you have found. Play needs no account; signing in saves stats and syncs them between devices.

It suits Witcher readers and players who know the supporting cast as well as Geralt, and want one short guess a day. The same game runs in Spanish.

How to play Witcherdle (Trivle)

1. Open Witcherdle on Trivle and choose Play.
2. Click a character card or search a name to make your first guess.
3. Read the clues: green for an exact match, yellow for a partial one, no colour for a miss.
4. Pick the next guess from the characters that fit every clue so far.
5. Find the secret character before your thirty tries run out, then wait for the next round at midnight UTC.

Tips

• Start with a character who belongs to a large faction, so the allegiance clue rules out many at once.
• Yellow cells mean part of an answer is right: keep that trait and change the rest.
• Use Practice to learn the roster's attributes without spending your daily tries.
