Hearthdle is a daily Hearthstone guessing game on the Out of Games site. Each day there is one mystery card from the Standard format, and you have eight guesses to name it, with every guess compared to the answer on type, set, class, rarity, subtype, mana cost, attack and health.

About Hearthdle (Out of Games)

Hearthdle is a daily card-guessing game for Hearthstone players, run by Out of Games, a gaming site with Hearthstone decks, card pages and guides. This Standard version started on 15 March 2026 and numbers its puzzles; the site runs two siblings, Hearthdle (Wild), which allows twelve guesses, and Hearthdle (Classic), each with its own daily card.

Each puzzle is one card legal in Standard. You search for a card by name and it joins the table as a row of eight clues: type, set, class, rarity, subtype, mana, attack and health. Type and class are green or red. Mana, attack and health show arrows pointing to a higher or lower value. Set is ordered by release date, newest first, and rarity by its gem, so those cells tell you which way to move as well. A subtype that partly matches, such as one of two minion types, shows yellow.

You have eight guesses. A countdown shows the time to the next card, which arrives at midnight US Eastern Time, and a share line gives the puzzle number and your score out of eight. A Practice tab serves extra puzzles that do not count toward the daily one, and a leaderboard tab ranks players; logging in to an Out of Games account keeps a streak and earns site points, but the daily puzzle can be played without one.

It suits Hearthstone players who keep up with the current Standard sets and know cards by their numbers. The site is in English and carries ads, which an Out of Games Pro subscription removes.

How to play Hearthdle (Out of Games)

  1. Open Hearthdle on outof.games and stay on the Daily tab.
  2. Type part of a card's name in the search box and pick a Standard card from the list.
  3. Read its row: green is a match, red a miss, yellow a partial subtype match, and arrows point to the answer's mana, attack, health, set or rarity.
  4. Use the clues to cut down the card pool and guess again, up to eight times.
  5. Share your score, or switch to Practice for extra puzzles until the next daily card at midnight Eastern.

Tips

  • Open with a mid-cost minion from a recent set: the mana, set and stat arrows then point you in every direction at once.
  • Class is the fastest cut: open with a class card, and a green class cell leaves only that class to search.
  • Spells and weapons have no health, so a card type miss early tells you whether attack and health will help at all.
  • Sets are ordered newest first, so an arrow on the set cell tells you whether the answer is older or newer than your guess.
