Vexle
Draw the day's flag from memory, then build another one region by region in six Wordle-style tries.
Every day: Two flag challenges a day, the same for everyone: draw a named country's flag from memory, and build a flag from its parts in six tries. New puzzle: Midnight US Eastern time.

Vexle is a daily flag game with two modes. In Draw you get a country's name and a blank canvas, sketch its flag from memory and get a score for how close you came. In Build you choose a layout and paint its regions, getting Wordle-style colour feedback for each region over six tries.
About Vexle
Vexle is a free browser game for people who like flags and geography. Every day at midnight US Eastern time, all players get the same two challenges, and no account is needed to play them.
In Draw mode you see the name of a country and a blank canvas. Using pen, fill and shape tools, you sketch the flag from memory and submit it; the real flag appears next to yours with a score. What counts is getting the large areas of colour in the right places, so artistic skill matters less than memory. A practice mode covers every flag in the world.
Build mode works like Wordle for flags. You pick the flag's layout, paint each numbered region and submit. Each region tells you whether its colour is right and in the right place, right but elsewhere on the flag, or not on the flag at all. Six tries are enough to work out a flag even if you have never seen it.
There is also Draw Battle, a timed party mode for up to six players, and challenge links for head-to-head duels. Signing in is optional and free; a Premium subscription removes ads and unlocks past dailies and themed flag packs.
How to play Vexle
- Open Vexle and start today's Draw challenge.
- Sketch the named country's flag with the pen, fill and shape tools, then submit to see your score.
- Switch to Build and choose the flag's layout.
- Paint each numbered region and submit to get colour feedback per region.
- Use the feedback to solve the flag within six tries.
Tips
- In Draw, get the big blocks of colour right first; small emblems count for little.
- In Build, start with a common layout such as three stripes to test several colours at once.
- A colour marked as elsewhere on the flag often belongs in a band next to where you put it.
