Tuble

The Tuble board: a Guess a station box above six empty guess rows, with the London Tube map shown below

Tuble is a daily London Underground puzzle. You pick a Tube station from the list, and the tile beside your guess shows how many stops away the day's station is, coloured by whether it is in the same fare zone, one zone away or further. You have six tries, and the Tube map sits below the board to help.

About Tuble

Tuble is a small free fan game for people who know the London Underground. Each day it picks one Tube station at random, and everyone works on the same one. You choose a guess from the list of stations, and the tile on the right of your row gives the number of stops between your station and the answer.

The tile's colour adds the fare zone: one colour when your guess is in the same zone as the answer, others for one zone away, two zones away and more than two. Only Tube lines count toward the stop number, not the DLR, the Overground or the Elizabeth line. A copy of the Tube map is shown under the board, so you can count stops and plan the next guess.

You have six tries. The site has no ads and no cookies and says it is not affiliated with TfL.

It suits Londoners and Tube fans who like reading the map; players outside London will lean on the map below the board.

How to play Tuble

  1. Open tuble.co.uk and choose a station from the list as your first guess.
  2. Read the tile: the number is how many Tube stops away the answer is.
  3. Read its colour: same zone, one zone away, two zones away or more.
  4. Use the Tube map below the board to find stations at that distance.
  5. Name the station within six guesses.

Tips

  • Start from a central interchange such as Green Park or Bank so the stop count is useful in every direction.
  • Use the zone colour to rule out whole branches of a line.
  • Remember only Tube lines count; a station near you by DLR may be many Tube stops away.
