TikiTaka
Thread one passing move through every teammate and past the press to score.
Every day: Five passing puzzles a day, the same for everyone: on each tactics board you find the one passing order that reaches every teammate once, avoids the defenders and your own earlier passes, and ends in a clean shot. New puzzle: Midnight in your local time (the site picks the daily by your device's date).

TikiTaka is a football logic puzzle from MatchIQ. On a tactics board you pass the ball so that every teammate touches it exactly once, without crossing a defender or one of your own earlier passes, and the last player has to score. There are five boards a day, each with one more player and exactly one solution.
About TikiTaka
TikiTaka needs no football knowledge at all: everything is on the pitch in front of you. Each board shows your team, a wall of defenders and one ball. Your job is to find the single passing move that reaches every teammate once and ends with a goal.
You drag the ball from the player who has it to the teammate you want to pass to. Every teammate has to receive it exactly once, nobody twice and nobody skipped. A pass line cannot cross a defender, and it cannot cross a line you have already drawn, which is what makes the later boards hard: a pass that looks fine early can cut off the one you need three touches later. When everyone has had the ball, the last player shoots, and that shot also needs a clear lane.
Each day has five boards, and each adds another player. Every board is checked before it is served, so it always has exactly one working order. If you get stuck you can play the ball backwards to undo passes, and the game tells you when you have reached a dead end.
The five boards are the same for every player that day, with a daily leaderboard. Signed-in players can open the archive to play days they missed; archived rounds are practice and do not count toward streaks, stats or the leaderboard.
How to play TikiTaka
- Open TikiTaka and look at the first board: your players, the defenders and the ball.
- Drag the ball from the player who has it to a teammate, keeping the pass line clear of defenders and earlier passes.
- Make sure every teammate receives the ball exactly once.
- Finish with a shot from the last player through a clear lane, then move on to the next of the day's five boards.
Tips
- Work backwards from the goal: find who can shoot cleanly and plan the order that leaves them with the ball last.
- Fit in players near the touchline early, since they usually have the fewest safe passes.
- Before each pass, check whether its line will block a pass you still need later.
- If you hit a dead end, step the move back rather than starting over: usually only the last few passes need to change.
Questions
Is there always a solution?
Yes. Every board is checked before it is served and has exactly one passing order that works.
What if I get stuck?
Play the ball backwards to undo passes and try another order; the game tells you when you are in a dead end.
Can I play previous days?
Yes, signed-in players can play past dailies from the archive, as practice that does not affect streaks or the leaderboard.
Does everyone get the same puzzles?
Yes. The date decides the five boards, so everyone plays the same set each day.
