StreetSeekr
Find three everyday things anywhere on Earth in Street View, in six minutes.
Every day: One numbered Daily Hunt a day, the same for everyone: three things to find somewhere on Earth in Google Street View, all within six minutes. New puzzle: Each calendar date has its own hunt, opening as that date begins (the site counts dates from UTC+14, so most players get.

StreetSeekr is a daily scavenger hunt on Google Street View. Each numbered hunt names three targets, such as a storm drain, and you have six minutes to find a Street View spot anywhere in the world that clearly shows each one.
About StreetSeekr
StreetSeekr turns Google Street View into a scavenger hunt. Instead of being dropped somewhere and asked where you are, you start from a world map and are told what to find: the hunt we opened began with "Find a storm drain". You choose where on Earth to look, drag the Pegman onto a road, and walk around until the target is plainly in view.
Every day brings one numbered Daily Hunt with three rounds, the same three targets for every player, and a single six-minute clock for all of them. The rounds can be taken in any order, so you can skip a hard one and come back. When you think you have it, you submit your view and an automated judge looks at the Street View image you sent and decides whether the target is in it. A rejected view can be disputed once, which sends it to a second judge.
Each target found is a point, so a perfect day is 3 out of 3. With a free account your results are saved and, once you have played enough hunts, you appear on a leaderboard ranked by average score. The site also has past hunts, community-made custom hunts and a riddle mode, with some extras for paying subscribers. Hunts are numbered from the first one in early 2026.
It suits people who like GeoGuessr-style exploring but prefer reasoning about where something is likely to be (a beach, an airport, a rural road) over identifying a place from its clues.
How to play StreetSeekr
- Open the Daily Hunt and press Play; the clock starts at six minutes.
- Read the first target at the top of the screen and think where in the world it is likely to be.
- Pan and zoom the world map, then drag the Pegman onto a blue road to enter Street View.
- Walk and turn until the target is clearly in view, then press Submit for the judge to check it.
- Use the arrows to move between the three rounds, and finish them all before the clock runs out.

Tips
- Pick a place where the target is common before you zoom in: a harbour for boats, a dense city street for storm drains.
- Get close and centre the target before submitting; the judge only sees your view, and a distant or blurry one may be refused.
- Skip a round that is not coming and return to it, since the six minutes cover all three.
- Satellite view helps spot things like pools, fields or parking lots before you drop into Street View.
Questions
How long do I have in StreetSeekr?
Six minutes for the whole hunt, shared across its three rounds.
Is the daily hunt the same for everyone?
Yes. Each Daily Hunt is numbered and dated, and every player gets the same three targets.
How is a round judged?
When you submit, an automated judge looks at your Street View image and decides whether the target is clearly in it. You can dispute a rejection, which sends it to a second judge.
Do I need an account?
No, you can play without one. A free account saves your results and puts you on the leaderboard after enough hunts.
