Size It Up
Rate itResize one real object next to another until the scale looks right, five times a day.
Every day: Five new size comparisons every day, the same for every player: ten real objects, each pair scored out of 100 for a daily total of 500. Geography, Weight, Detective and Words modes have daily challenges of their own. New puzzle: 00:00 UTC.

Size It Up is a free daily game about the scale of real things. Each day brings five comparisons: one object is your reference, and you stretch or shrink the other until it looks the right size beside it. Lock in your guess to see the real measurement, where it comes from and your score out of 100.
About Size It Up
Size It Up is a browser game that tests your sense of scale. Every round puts two pictures side by side on a grid: the one on the left is the reference, and the one on the right is yours to resize until its length or height looks right next to the first. The question names the dimension that counts, such as how long a ruby slipper from the 1939 Wizard of Oz costume is compared with an atlas moth.
The daily Classic challenge has five rounds built from ten different objects: animals, buildings, spacecraft, sports equipment and things from around the house. There is no timer, but your first locked answer in each round is final. Each round scores up to 100 points depending on how close your ratio is to the real one, and guessing twice too big costs the same as guessing twice too small. After each reveal you see the real size, the example or rule it is based on, and a link to its source.
Beside Classic, the game offers Geography, where you compare the spans of country outlines in five daily rounds, Weight, where you balance one kind of object against another, Detective, where you find the odd object in a scene and then resize it, and Words, a clue-by-clue guessing mode still in beta. A new challenge starts at 00:00 UTC.
You can play, share your result and join the daily, monthly and all-time leaderboards without signing in; the game makes a nickname and avatar for your browser, and linking a Google or email account is optional, to keep your progress on another device. Past challenges can be replayed from the archive for practice, without counting toward the leaderboards. The game can be played in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese and Turkish. It suits anyone who likes trivia about how big things really are and a quick daily test of the eye.

Tips
- Think in ratios rather than metres: the grid squares are only a guide to proportion, not a fixed unit.
- Read the question closely, since it may ask for length in one round and height in the next.
- Read the explanation after each reveal: sizes use a stated example or a recorded maximum, which helps with similar objects later.
- Use the archive to practise on past days; those scores do not count toward the leaderboards.
