Size Comparison Game
Rate itResize a real object against a fixed reference until the scale looks right, five times a day.
Every day: Five size comparisons a day, the same for everyone under a numbered daily: each pairs a fixed reference with an object whose size you set. Each themed set (animals, dinosaurs, space and more) also gets a new daily round. New puzzle: Midnight in your own time zone (since October 5, 2026; earlier dailies changed at midnight UTC).

Size Comparison Game puts two real things on one baseline, such as the Burj Khalifa and the Queen Mary 2, and asks you to resize one until it matches its true height, length or width. Five comparisons a day, scored out of 100 each, with unlimited rounds and an archive once the daily is done.
About Size Comparison Game
Size Comparison Game is a free browser game about your sense of scale. Each question names one dimension, such as overall length, height, diameter or wingspan, and gives you a reference object drawn at its true size. Your job is to stretch or shrink the other object's silhouette until the two look right together.
The daily has five comparisons, the same for everyone who plays that numbered daily. The pool takes in animals, everyday objects, vehicles, buildings and planets, so one round can put a cruise ship next to a skyscraper and the next a dinosaur next to a bus. When you lock in a guess, the view frames both objects, the real size grows into place and your score appears with a short comparison and a link to the measurement's source.
Scoring is plain: the smaller of your guess and the real size is divided by the larger and turned into points out of 100, so guessing half or double earns 50. Where a source gives a range, any guess inside it scores full marks.
Besides the main daily there are themed sets, each with a new round every day: animals, buildings and landmarks, space and planets, dinosaurs, vehicles and transport, sports, and everyday objects. After the daily you can keep playing five-question rounds in Unlimited or go back to earlier dates in the Archive; replays do not replace your first daily score. Progress is kept in your browser with no account.
It suits players who liked the drag-to-scale rounds of Magnitudle or How big? roughly. and want a quick visual estimate rather than a number to type.
How to play Size Comparison Game
- Open the Daily tab and read the question: it names the object to size and the dimension being compared, such as height or overall length.
- Note the reference object and its stated size, shown on the same baseline.
- Drag on the board, pinch, scroll, or use the slider and the plus and minus buttons to change the size of the target object.
- Press Lock in guess to see the real size, your score out of 100 and the source of the measurement.
- Move on to the next question until all five are done, then try a themed set, Unlimited or the Archive.

Tips
- Read the dimension label first: a ship's length and a tower's height sit on the same baseline, so turning the object in your head is a common mistake.
- The zoom buttons and Fit both only change the view, not your guess, so zoom out freely to compare the two silhouettes.
- Since half or double the real size both score 50, it pays to get the order of magnitude right before fine tuning.
- Use the reference's stated size and your estimate readout to sanity check the guess in metres or feet before locking it in.
