Ripples
Rate itTap a pool to flip it and its four neighbours, and leave the whole board dry.
Every day: One shared daily wave, the same board for every player: tap pools to flip them and their neighbours until the board is dry. One attempt, no hints and no undo; the clock starts on your first tap and your time goes on a worldwide daily leaderboard. New puzzle: Once a day; the Daily Challenge card counts down to the next puzzle.

Ripples is an iPhone and iPad logic puzzle in the Lights Out family: every tap flips the pool you touch and the pools around it, wet to dry and dry to wet, and the goal is a dry board. Each day brings one shared daily wave with a single attempt and no hints, timed for a worldwide leaderboard, beside a campaign of 160 waves.
About Ripples
Ripples is a puzzle app by Sarath S Menon, published under S10N Apps, for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Its rule fits in one line: tapping a pool flips it and the four pools beside it, so wet pools drain and dry pools fill together. A dry board is a solved board, and the puzzle is finding the set of taps that empties everything.
The daily challenge is one wave that everyone gets on the same day. You have one attempt, with no hints and no undo, and the clock starts on your first tap. Your time is your score and goes on a worldwide daily leaderboard through Game Center, and a streak counts the days you play. The Daily Challenge card shows the board size and a move goal, such as a 6x6 board with a goal of six taps.
Outside the daily there is a campaign of 160 waves across ten worlds. Boards grow from 3x3 to 7x7, and later worlds change how a tap travels: walls stop the ripple, diagonal currents reach the corners too, and surge pools push the ripple two pools out. Every wave is checked for its shortest solution, and matching it earns three stars. Undo is free in the campaign, while a hint shows the next pool and costs a star.
The app is free. Campaign waves use Drops that refill over time, but the daily never costs one. Themes such as Ink, Bloom and Firefly can be unlocked with Bubbles earned in play or bought, and optional rewarded ads give extra resources. There is no subscription. The website has a small board you can try, but the shared daily is played in the app.
How to play Ripples
- Install Ripples on an iPhone or iPad and open the Daily Challenge.
- Look at today's board: blue pools are wet, empty pools are dry.
- Tap a pool to flip it and the four pools next to it; wet pools drain and dry pools fill.
- Keep tapping until every pool is dry. You get one attempt with no undo or hints, and the clock runs from your first tap.
- Sign in with Game Center before the day ends to post your time on the daily leaderboard.

Tips
- Tapping the same pool twice undoes it, so a solution never needs any pool tapped more than once.
- The order of taps does not matter, only which pools you tap; plan the set before you start the clock.
- Chase the water down: clear each row by tapping the pools directly beneath its wet pools, then see what pattern is left in the bottom row.
- Practise on the early campaign waves, where undo is free, before facing the one-attempt daily.
