Minesweepdle daily #219: a 15 by 15 minesweeper board with an opened area of number clues

Minesweepdle puts the same 15 by 15 minesweeper board in front of every player each day, with 35 mines and a timer. You get one attempt: clear every safe cell and you win, hit a mine and the day is over. Wins build a streak, and earlier boards wait in an archive.

About Minesweepdle

Minesweepdle turns classic minesweeper into a daily puzzle. A new numbered board appears at midnight Eastern Time, and everyone plays the same one: a 15 by 15 grid hiding 35 mines.

The rules are the familiar ones. You press Start, then left-click to reveal a cell and right-click to place or remove a flag; on a phone a Flag Mode button switches between the two. Each number shows how many mines touch that cell, and double-clicking a number whose flags are all placed reveals its other neighbours at once. A timer runs from your first move.

The twist is that you only get one attempt. Hit a mine and the day's board is lost, so careful deduction matters more than speed. The game keeps your games played, wins, win rate and streak, which grows each day you win and resets if you miss one, and you can copy your result to share. Previous puzzles are in the archive.

It suits minesweeper players who want a daily reason to play carefully, and anyone who likes the idea of the same board as everyone else.

How to play Minesweepdle

  1. Open Minesweepdle and press Start.
  2. Left-click a cell to reveal it; numbers show how many mines touch that cell.
  3. Right-click, or use Flag Mode on mobile, to flag cells you know are mines.
  4. Double-click a number whose mines are all flagged to reveal its remaining neighbours.
  5. Clear every safe cell without hitting a mine; you only get one try.

Tips

  • Look for 1s on corners and edges of the opened area: they often pin a mine to a single cell.
  • Flag mines as you find them so chording is safe.
  • Slow down: with one attempt, a guess is the last thing to try, not the first.
