Number Match is a free mobile number puzzle from Easybrain, the maker of Sudoku.com, based on an old pen-and-paper game. You clear a grid of digits by crossing out pairs that are equal or add up to ten. Besides endless games there is a Daily Challenge for every date in a monthly calendar, with a trophy for each month you complete.
About Number Match (Easybrain)
Number Match puts a grid of digits from 1 to 9 on the screen, nine to a row. You tap two numbers to cross them out when they are the same, such as 7 and 7, or when they add up to ten, such as 6 and 4 or 8 and 2. The two must sit next to each other horizontally, vertically or diagonally, with only crossed-out cells between them, or at the end of one line and the start of the next. When no more pairs can be made, you can copy the remaining numbers onto new lines at the bottom of the grid, and you win when every number is gone.
It is the mobile version of a pen-and-paper game many people played as children, sometimes called Take Ten or Numberzilla. There is no time limit, hints help when you are stuck, and seasonal events award medals.
The Daily Challenges sit on a monthly calendar: each date has its own board, and a star fills in for each day you complete. Finish every day of a month and you win that month's trophy, and missed days can be played later from the calendar. The game is free with ads, from Easybrain, which also makes Sudoku.com.

Tips
- Clear pairs that unblock others first; a crossed-out cell links the numbers on either side.
- Do not rush to add new lines: every number you leave on the board is copied again.
- Remember the wrap-around rule: the last number of a line pairs with the first of the next.
