This is Klondike, the solitaire most people know: build the four foundations from ace to king by suit, and arrange the seven tableau columns in descending order with alternating colours, drawing from the stock one card or three at a time. Easybrain's version scores each game on time and moves, with multipliers that grow as you move through stages with consecutive wins, and a weekly score shown at the top of the table.

The Daily Challenge is a separate game each day. Win it to earn that day's golden crown; collect the crowns across a month and you get a unique trophy for it. Seasonal events add sets of deals at several difficulty levels that uncover themed postcards.

Undos and hints help when you are stuck, cards can be moved by tap or drag, and backgrounds and card backs can be changed. The app is free with ads, from Easybrain, which also makes Sudoku.com, Killer Sudoku and Number Match.

How to play Solitaire (Easybrain)

1. Open the app and choose today's Daily Challenge.
2. Draw from the stock, one card or three at a time depending on the mode.
3. Build tableau columns down in alternating colours, and move kings into empty columns.
4. Move cards to the four foundations from ace to king by suit.
5. Clear every card to the foundations to win the day's crown.

Tips

• Turn over face-down cards in the tableau before playing from the stock.
• Do not empty a column unless you have a king ready to fill it.
• Hold back from moving cards to the foundations when you still need them to build on in the tableau.
