Minomer
Find every hidden mine from row and column clues and scanner tiles, with no guessing.
Every day: One Daily Puzzle a day (6x6, or 7x7 on Fridays and Saturdays) with two attempts, plus a Daily Ladder of five boards from 2x2 to 10x10; both are seeded from the date, so everyone gets the same boards. New puzzle: Midnight, your local time.

Minomer is a daily mine-finding logic puzzle where the clues sit along the edges like a nonogram and scanner tiles inside the grid count nearby mines. Each day brings one Daily Puzzle with two attempts and a five-step Daily Ladder, every board solvable by reasoning alone.
About Minomer
Minomer is a free browser puzzle by Liesye that mixes the row and column clues of a nonogram with the counting tiles of Minesweeper. Every grid hides a set of mines. The numbers above and beside the grid show how the mines in that line are grouped, in order, with at least one empty cell between groups, so 2 1 means two mines together, a gap, then one more.
Inside the grid, dark scanner tiles count the mines in the eight cells around them. You tap a cell once to mark it safe as a note, twice to flag it as a mine and three times to clear it. Only the flags count: when you submit, correct flags stay, wrong ones turn red, and you lose an attempt.
There are two daily modes. The Daily Puzzle is a 6x6 board most days and a 7x7 on Friday and Saturday, with two attempts. The Daily Ladder is five boards in a row, 2x2, 4x4, 6x6, 8x8 and 10x10, with one attempt each; fail one and the climb ends, clear all five for a Perfect Climb. Both are generated from the date, so everyone on the same day gets the same boards.
The game promises that every board can be solved by logic, with no forced guesses. A one-minute tutorial teaches the clues and scanners, there are light and dark themes, and results can be copied to share. It plays at minomer.com and on its itch.io page.
How to play Minomer
- Open minomer.com and pick the Daily Puzzle or the Daily Ladder (or start with the short tutorial).
- Read the edge clues: each number is a group of mines in that row or column, in order, with gaps between groups.
- Use the scanner tiles, which count the mines in the eight cells around them.
- Tap once to note a cell as safe, twice to flag a mine, three times to clear it.
- When every mine is flagged, press submit; wrong flags cost an attempt.

Tips
- Start with lines whose clues add up to nearly the whole row, such as 3 1 on a six-cell line; they leave few possible placements.
- A 0 clue clears a whole row or column at once, so mark those cells safe first.
- Use the safe marks freely; they are notes and are not scored.
- On the ladder you get one attempt per level, so check every line against its clue before submitting.
Questions
Is Minomer the same puzzle for everyone?
Yes. The Daily Puzzle and the ladder boards are generated from the date, so everyone playing on the same day gets the same grids.
When does Minomer reset?
The game uses your device's date, so new boards arrive at midnight your local time.
Do I ever have to guess?
No. The game says every puzzle can be solved by reasoning from the clues and scanners.
How many tries do I get?
Two attempts on the Daily Puzzle and one attempt per level on the Daily Ladder. After the ladder ends you can replay levels in an unscored practice mode.
