Mindset GO! is a free puzzle game from Magicave in which you sort shapes into the circles of a Venn diagram by rules you have to discover. New challenges come every day, and you can share them with friends to compare streaks and times. It plays on iPhone, Android and the web.

About Mindset GO!

Mindset GO! is built on sets. A board shows two overlapping circles and a scatter of shapes: circles, squares and triangles in different colours, filled or outlined. Each circle stands for a rule you are not told, such as blue shapes or shapes with corners, and you slide shapes into the circles, or into the overlap, until every one sits where the rules say it belongs.

The app offers daily challenges and weekly themed puzzles that unlock bonus shape sets in other styles, from dice and playing cards to fruit and animals. You earn badges for perfecting sets and for discovering all the rules, and you can share the day's challenges with friends to compete for the longest streak or the fastest time.

Mindset GO! comes from Magicave, whose team lists work on Pixelgrams, Chime and Stardew Valley. It is free on iOS and Android and also runs in the browser at mindset.game.

Tips

  • Test one property at a time: colour, shape or fill.
  • A shape that fits neither circle tells you as much as one that fits both.
