LangWhich
Five words, five languages, 30 seconds: name the language each one is written in.
Every day: Five words or phrases a day, the same for every player, each in one of 25 languages: pick the language from five options before 30 seconds run out. New puzzle: Midnight, local time.

LangWhich is a quick daily quiz about recognising languages. Each day brings five words or phrases, shared by all players, and you choose which of five languages each one belongs to. The whole round lasts 30 seconds, and points come from correct answers plus a time bonus.
About LangWhich
LangWhich asks one question five times: which language is this? Each round shows a single word or short phrase, written in its own script, and five possible languages to pick from. The pool covers 25 widely spoken languages, among them Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, French, Arabic, Japanese, Bengali, Tamil, Thai and Korean.
The challenge is the same for everyone on a given date and changes at midnight. The five rounds often share a theme, for example the word for Earth in several languages, so the puzzle is less about knowing vocabulary and more about telling scripts and spelling patterns apart.
You get 30 seconds in total for all five rounds. Each correct answer is worth 15 points and the time you have left adds a bonus of up to 25, for a maximum of 100. Keyboard players can answer with the number keys 1 to 5. Once you finish, the game marks the day as played and invites you back for the next set.
It suits anyone curious about writing systems and world languages, and it is short enough to play over a coffee. No account is needed, and the site says it keeps your daily results and high scores only in your browser.
