KPOPLE is a daily K-pop idol guessing game modelled on LoLdle. Type an idol's name and each trait, from company and group to positions and debut year, turns green, orange or red, with arrows for height and age. The secret idol is the same for everyone and changes at midnight Eastern time.

About KPOPLE

KPOPLE was made by Baconwolf5986, a computer science student and K-pop fan, who noticed there were no active daily games for K-pop fans and built one in the style of loldle.net. The idol list started as a hand-made set of about 70 popular idols and has grown, with a separate boy group side next to the girl group one.

Each guess is checked against the day's secret idol. Green means a trait matches, red means it does not, and orange means at least one part matches, such as one shared position. Arrows show whether the answer is younger or older, taller or shorter, or debuted more recently or earlier. Company means the parent company of the idol's label, so an ILLIT member counts as HYBE; positions follow the official ones listed on Kprofiles.

The page counts how many people have found the idol that day and shows yesterday's answer, and a streak counter tracks consecutive days. Beside the main game, KPOPLE runs daily KDance (guess the choreography), KFramed (guess the music video from frames), KMoji (guess the song from emojis) and KFace (guess the idol from parts of the face), each with girl group and boy group versions.

How to play KPOPLE

  1. Pick the girl group or boy group side on kpople.net.
  2. Type the first letters of an idol's name and choose them from the list.
  3. Submit and read each trait: green matches, orange partly matches, red does not.
  4. Follow the arrows for age, height and debut year to narrow the field.
  5. Keep guessing until every box is green, then share your result.

Tips

  • Start with an idol from a big company and a large group to sort out company and group quickly.
  • Orange on positions means at least one position matches; look for idols with that role.
  • Debut year arrows cut the list fast, so check them before height.
  • Look at yesterday's idol to see how the list leans.
