Nine logic and word puzzles a day, raced against your friends' solve times.

Every day: Nine dailies each day, one in every game (Crowns, Halo, Chain, Patches, Stars, Train Tracks, Sums, Categories and Words), the same for every player, each with its own streak and a leaderboard of solve times. New puzzle: A fixed hour each day, shown in the app in your own time zone (8:00 AM in a store screenshot).

An IQ Mogged Crowns daily board on iPad: a seven by seven grid of colour regions with four crowns placed and crosses marking excluded cells, shown in the German version

IQ Mogged is an iPhone and iPad app with nine small puzzle games, each with a new daily puzzle that every player gets. You solve Queens-style crowns, suns and moons, a numbered path, star grids, train tracks, number sums, word groups and a five-letter word, then compare your times with friends on a leaderboard.

About IQ Mogged: Daily Puzzles

IQ Mogged: Daily Puzzles is an app from The Lucas Agency GmbH, first released on the App Store in July 2026. It gathers nine short puzzle games in one place, and every one of them gets a fresh daily puzzle each day. The dailies are free for everyone and are played without ads.

Most of the games are grid deductions in the style of LinkedIn's puzzles. Crowns asks for one crown in every row, column and colour region, with no two touching. Halo balances suns and moons with never three in a row. Chain joins numbered cells in order along one path. Patches fills the board with pieces, Stars places two stars in each row, column and region, Train Tracks lays one line between two ends to match the counts at the edges, and Sums has you delete numbers until each row and column reaches its target. Two games use words: Categories hides four groups of four among sixteen words, and Words is a five-letter guess in six tries, in English or German.

The daily puzzles carry a number and a difficulty, and the app spreads them through the week, with easier boards on Monday and harder ones toward the weekend. Each game keeps its own streak, a timer runs while you solve, and your time goes on a leaderboard against friends you add and against all players. Weekly events reward solving one game's daily on all seven days with extra levels and a badge.

Beyond the dailies, each game has a long level path of up to 2,000 boards that play offline. The first levels of each game are free, and one-time purchases unlock the rest and remove the ads shown between levels; there is no subscription. The app suits players who already do Queens, Tango, Zip and Connections each morning and want them, and a few more, in one app with a friendly race on time.

How to play IQ Mogged: Daily Puzzles

  1. Install IQ Mogged from the App Store on an iPhone or iPad and pick a display name.
  2. Open the Dailies tab to see today's nine puzzles, each marked with its number and difficulty.
  3. Tap a game, read its short rules box, and solve the board while the timer runs: in Crowns, tap once for a cross and twice for a crown.
  4. Use Undo, Reset or a hint if you get stuck; wrong moves cost nothing.
  5. When a puzzle is solved, see your time and how you placed, then move on to the next daily.
  6. Add friends from the Friends button and compare times on the leaderboards, game by game.

Tips

  • In Crowns and Stars, mark crosses around each placed piece first: no two may touch, even diagonally.
  • Solve the dailies in the order the app lists them to keep every streak alive; a missed day resets that game's streak.
  • Mondays are the gentlest boards, so a new player can learn the games early in the week.
