Het Woord (DPG Media)
Dutch Wordle in three lengths, for subscribers of DPG Media papers.
Every day: A Dutch word of the day in 5, 6 and 7-letter versions, each published per date for all subscribers, with six tries to guess it. New puzzle: Once a day; the app lists today's puzzles under the date.

Het Woord is DPG Media's Dutch word-guessing game: six tries to find the hidden word, with coloured tiles after each guess. It comes in five, six and seven-letter versions, published daily in the Puzzelfit app. Puzzelfit is a free extra for subscribers of the Volkskrant, AD, Trouw, Het Parool and other DPG titles.
About Het Woord (DPG Media)
DPG Media publishes many of the best-known newspapers in the Netherlands and Flanders, and in 2025 it gathered their puzzles into one app, Puzzelfit. The app promises more than 50 new word and number puzzles every day, and Het Woord is its Wordle-style game. The store listing describes it as a word game where you get six attempts to guess the right word, and Het Woord 7 is billed as exclusive to Puzzelfit.
The home screen is organised by date: under Vandaag (today) it lists the most recent editions of your favourite puzzles, including Het Woord 5 and Het Woord 6, and a past-week list lets you replay yesterday or earlier days. In each game you type a Dutch word and the tiles turn green for a letter in the right place, yellow for a letter elsewhere in the word, and dark grey for letters that are not in it.
Puzzelfit is a free extra for subscribers (except the Digitaal Basis plan) to de Volkskrant, Trouw, Het Parool, AD, De Gelderlander, De Stentor, Eindhovens Dagblad, Brabants Dagblad, Tubantia, BN DeStem, PZC and the magazines Libelle, Margriet and Flair. You log in with a DPG Media account.
It suits Dutch speakers who already read one of these titles and want Wordle in their own language, with longer versions when five letters feel too easy.

Tips
- Start with common Dutch letters such as E, N, A, R and T.
- Remember the Dutch IJ: check whether the game treats it as two letters before relying on it.
- Grey letters on the keyboard are out; avoid reusing them.
- Try the five-letter word first, then use the warm-up for the longer versions.
