Headline is a daily geography game from From The Think, the makers of Timeline. Each numbered game gives you real news headlines, and your task is to find the place behind each story.

About Headline (From The Think)

Headline is one of a small set of daily games on From The Think, alongside Timeline (guess the year of events), Moneyline and Underline. Each day there is a new numbered Headline game, number 172 on 2 October 2026, and every player gets the same one.

The game shows you real news headlines one at a time. Using the clues in the wording, such as names, institutions or events, you work out where in the world each story took place. It turns the news into a geography quiz and rewards people who follow what is happening beyond their own country.

The game is free, needs no account, and has a Discord community and a form for suggesting questions.

It suits news readers and geography fans who like a quick daily test.
