Electle
Name the country and election year from a parliament's seat chart.
Every day: One parliament a day, the same for everyone: from its seating diagram, find the country on a world map and the election year. New puzzle: Midnight, local time.

Electle shows you the seating diagram of a lower house after an election, coloured by party, and asks two things: which country, and which year? Pick the country on a world map and type a year; the game tells you if you are in the right region and whether to go earlier or later.
About Electle
Electle is a daily quiz for people who follow elections. Each day it shows one parliamentary seating chart, the half-circle diagrams of seats coloured by party that appear in election coverage, always for a lower house. The diagrams come from Wikimedia Commons and span many countries and periods.
To guess, you click a country on a zoomable world map and enter an election year. If the country is right it lights up green; if it is wrong but in the right region, the neighbouring countries are highlighted; the year gets an arrow telling you to go higher or lower. You keep guessing until you have both, and can then share your number of attempts.
The daily parliament is picked from the date, so everyone faces the same chart, and a timer counts down to the next one. Endless mode serves random charts for practice, and Easy mode drops the year so you only need the country.
It suits politics fans, students of comparative government and anyone who reads election results for fun.
How to play Electle
- Open electle.fun and choose Daily Mode.
- Study the seating diagram: number of seats, party colours and the balance between blocs.
- Select a country on the world map and type an election year, then guess.
- Use the region highlight and the higher or lower arrow to close in on both answers.
Tips
- The total number of seats is a strong clue to the country.
- Look for a dominant party or a crowded field of small parties: both say a lot about the political system.
- Practise in Easy mode to learn countries before worrying about years.
