GeoCake in Spanish

A GeoCake CakeFlag board: a pie chart of a flag's colours with their percentages, a country guess box and five hints waiting to be revealed

GeoCake is a free site with five daily geography games: guess a country from its flag's colour proportions, fill a 3x3 country grid, name a top 10 ranking, find a country from clues and pick which country has more. Each game is worth 20 points toward a Daily Challenge score out of 100, with a streak and a weekly league.

About GeoCake

GeoCake is an independent site of short geography games, made in Argentina by Tomás Piola. It launched in 2026 and plays in English and Spanish. Its data comes from public sources such as the World Bank, the CIA World Factbook and Wikidata.

Each day brings a new round of five games, the same for everyone. In CakeFlag you see a pie chart of a flag's colours and their shares, and name the country in six guesses, with a hint after each miss. CakeGrid asks for countries that fit a row clue and a column clue in each square of a 3x3 grid. Top 10 gives you 90 seconds to name the ten countries in a ranking. GeoFacts gives six facts about a country, hardest first. Higher or Lower asks whether one country has more or less of something than another.

The five games add up to the Daily Challenge, scored out of 100. CakeFlag and GeoFacts give 20 points for a first-guess answer and fewer for each later guess; the other three split their 20 points among the correct answers. Finish all five and you can copy a summary with a bar for each game, and your Challenge streak grows by one. Points also count toward a weekly league that runs Monday to Sunday, open to everyone or to a league with friends.

No account is needed: stats stay in your browser, and signing in with Google keeps them across devices. Each game also has a Practice or Endless mode for more play, though only the daily counts for points. The site says it adds a new game every month. GeoCake suits players who already play Worldle or Flagle and want several quick geography puzzles in one place.

How to play GeoCake

  1. Open GeoCake and pick one of the five daily games; you can play them in any order.
  2. In CakeFlag, read the pie chart of the flag's colours and type a country; each wrong guess or skip reveals a hint, and you have six guesses.
  3. In CakeGrid, fill each square of the 3x3 grid with a country that matches both its row and column clue.
  4. In Top 10, name as many of the ten countries in the day's ranking as you can within 90 seconds.
  5. In GeoFacts, guess the country from facts that get easier with each miss, and in Higher or Lower say whether each country has more or less than the one shown.
  6. When all five are done, check your score out of 100 and copy or share the summary.

Tips

  • In CakeFlag, the colour shares matter as much as the colours: a flag with a small black slice and large green and blue parts narrows the field quickly.
  • Answer CakeFlag and GeoFacts early only when you are fairly sure: a first-guess answer is worth 20 points, and each later guess takes off 3.
  • A wrong name in Top 10 costs no points, so keep typing likely countries until the clock runs out.
  • Use Practice or Endless mode to learn flags and rankings without touching your daily score.
