About Fightdle (FGC Guessr)

FGC Guessr is a site for the fighting game community, and Fightdle is its daily character game. The pool covers the cast of Street Fighter III, IV, V and 6, and every day at midnight UTC one of them becomes the hidden answer for all players.

You type a character's name, and the guess fills a row of columns: gender, which Street Fighter game the character is from, whether they were DLC, and four yes-or-no questions about their moves: a projectile, a command grab, an invincible reversal such as a dragon punch, and charge inputs. Each cell turns green when it matches the answer and red when it does not. You have six rows to land on the right fighter.

The moveset columns are what set it apart from other character -dles: they reward players who know how each fighter actually plays, not just where they come from. A Daily Fightdle leaderboard ranks the best streaks, an Arcade mode gives endless rounds once the daily is done, and a Characters button sits beside How to Play. It suits Street Fighter players and anyone in the fighting game scene.

How to play Fightdle (FGC Guessr)

1. Open fgcguessr.com/fightdle and keep the Daily tab selected.
2. Type a Street Fighter character's name and submit it as your guess.
3. Read the row: green cells match the hidden character and red ones do not, for gender, game, DLC, projectile, command grab, invincible reversal and charge inputs.
4. Use the matches to rule out fighters.
5. Find the character within six tries; a new one comes at midnight UTC, and Arcade mode offers more rounds meanwhile.

Tips

• Open with a fighter who has a projectile and a dragon punch but no command grab, such as a shoto, to split the roster on the moveset columns.
• The Game column narrows things most: settle which Street Fighter the answer is from before guessing names.
• Charge inputs mark a small group of characters, so a green there leaves only a handful.
• Remember DLC shows N/A for SF3 characters, so that cell can hint at the game too.
