The Fightdle Connections board: sixteen UFC fighters in a four by four grid, including Conor McGregor, Israel Adesanya, Ilia Topuria and Alex Pereira

Fightdle is a free daily UFC guessing game. Its Classic mode asks you to find the day's fighter from clues like weight class, nationality, age and fighting style, and around it sit daily modes for knockout clips, blurred photos, higher or lower stats, a Connections board and a fighter tier vote.

About Fightdle

Fightdle is a fan-made guessing game about the UFC and nothing else: its own about page says it leaves out Bellator, PFL and boxing, and that it is not affiliated with the UFC. The site has grown mode by mode since 2025, and its patch notes list each addition, from the picture mode in July 2025 to Connections in January 2026.

The heart of it is Classic. You type a fighter's name, and each guess comes back as a row of coloured cells comparing it with the day's fighter: green for a match, orange for partial, red for wrong, and arrows where the answer is higher or lower. A new fighter comes at midnight UTC, and a countdown shows how long until the next one. Infinite mode plays the same way without the daily limit.

The other daily modes change the angle. Guess the Knockout plays a pixelated clip of a UFC finish that sharpens over four levels, with one guess per level. Guess the Picture shows a blurred black and white photo that clears with each guess. Higher or Lower gives fifteen matchups across total fights, wins and finishes, the same fifteen for everyone. Connections lays out sixteen fighters to sort into four hidden groups of four before your hearts run out, and Daily Take asks you to grade fighters from A to F and then shows how others voted.

It suits UFC fans who know weight classes and records well and want more than one fighter puzzle a day; a casual viewer can still get through Classic by working from the feedback.

How to play Fightdle

  1. Open Fightdle and pick a mode from the row of icons; Classic is the daily guess-the-fighter game.
  2. In Classic, type a UFC fighter's name and submit it as your guess.
  3. Read the row of results: green cells match the day's fighter, orange is close, red is wrong, and arrows say whether the answer is higher or lower.
  4. Keep guessing with what you have learned until you find the fighter, then share your result.
  5. Try the other daily modes: name a knockout from a pixelated clip, a fighter from a blurred photo, sort sixteen fighters into four groups in Connections, or pick the higher stat fifteen times.

Tips

  • Use your first Classic guess on a fighter from a busy weight class so the division and arrows narrow things quickly.
  • In Guess the Knockout you get only one guess per level, so wait for a sharper clip unless you are sure.
  • In Connections, groups can be as plain as a shared country or weight class; look for those before trickier links.
  • Infinite mode is a good place to practise Classic without spending the day's puzzle.
