MMADLE is a free daily MMA guessing game. Each day there is one mystery fighter, and every name you try is compared with them across nickname, nationality, age, weight category, organisation and record, with eight guesses to find them.

About MMADLE

MMADLE is a guess-the-fighter game for mixed martial arts fans, running since June 2024. Every day there is one mystery fighter, the same for everyone, and you have eight tries to name them. The fighters come from across the sport, not only the UFC: the organisation column covers promotions such as the PFL as well.

You type a fighter's name into the search box and pick from the list. Your guess becomes a row in the table under the columns Name, Nickname, Nationality, Age, Category, Organization and Record. Green marks what matches the mystery fighter and red what does not. The nationality cell turns orange when the fighter is from the same region but not the same country, and arrows tell you whether the answer's age, weight category or record is higher or lower than yours. The organisation shown is the one where the fighter had their last fight.

When you solve it, or run out of guesses, the page shows the answer and a countdown to the next fighter. Playing without an account works; signing in with an email link, with no password, saves your score to a ranking of the best players. The home page also lists the last ten mystery fighters and the fighters whose birthday it is, and the site has pages on fighters, events and organisations.

It suits fans who follow more than one promotion and know records and weight classes well, since the pool is wider than a UFC-only game.

How to play MMADLE

  1. Open MMADLE and type at least two letters of an MMA fighter's name into the search box.
  2. Pick a fighter from the list to make your guess; it appears as a row of clues.
  3. Read the row: green is a match, red is not, orange nationality means the same region, and arrows say whether the answer is higher or lower.
  4. Use what you have learned to choose the next fighter, and find the mystery fighter within eight guesses.
  5. Sign in with your email if you want your score added to the rankings, then come back the next day for a new fighter.

Tips

  • Weight category arrows follow the order of the divisions, from atomweight up to heavyweight, so use them to bracket the division quickly.
  • An orange nationality cell means the right region; the game's how-to-play lists which countries share a region.
  • The organisation column is where the fighter last fought, so a former UFC fighter may show up under another promotion.
  • The list of recent mystery fighters on the home page shows the kind of names it picks, often current UFC contenders.
