Figgle is an iPhone app of daily logic puzzles for children: suns and moons, quilt patches, pipes, picture grids, berries, fruit squares, sums, vines and lanterns. Each day brings a fresh set seeded from the date, so the whole family plays the same puzzles. It has no ads, no purchases and no account.
About Figgle: Daily Puzzles for Kids
Figgle, from the small parent-run studio Spoobird, is a home for daily logic puzzles made for kids. Each day's set has a name on the home screen, such as Juicy Cellar, and covers nine puzzle types: Day & Night (balance suns and moons, like takuzu), Patchwork (cover the board with rectangles, like shikaku), Pipes (rotate tiles into one network), Picture (colour squares from edge clues, like a nonogram), Berries (keep each fruit in one connected bunch), Fruit Stand (one of each fruit in every row and column, a first step toward sudoku), Sums (place number tiles so every sum works), Vines (join matching fruits with lines that fill the board) and Lanterns (light every square, like akari).
Puzzles are seeded from the date, so the listing says a friend across the street plays the exact same board you do, and the family can compare notes at dinner. There are no countdowns or scores to chase. Each game opens with a tap-along tutorial, hints explain why a move works, and a Check button points to squares to look at again. Each game also adjusts its level to the child, across ten levels per game, and a grown-up can set the level by hand.
Figgle has no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no tracking and no network access, with everything generated on the device. It has a hand-drawn storybook look and is rated 4+.

Tips
- Start with Day & Night: never three alike in a row is the easiest rule to spot.
- In Patchwork, the biggest numbers usually have only one way to fit.
- In Picture, a row clue as long as the row fills the whole row.
- Let the game step the level up or down; a grown-up can also set it by hand.
