Daily Lumen
Place lamps until every square of the day's room is lit, with no lamp shining on another.
Every day: One Light Up (Akari) grid a day, the same for everyone in the world, seeded by the date. Place lamps until every square is lit with no two lamps seeing each other; the week ramps from Gentle on Monday to Fiendish on Sunday, with solves timed against par. New puzzle: Once a day (the listing does not state the time).

Daily Lumen is an iPhone Light Up (Akari) puzzle with one grid a day, the same for everyone in the world. You place lamps whose light runs along rows and columns until walls stop it, lighting every square without letting two lamps see each other, while numbered walls say how many lamps touch them.
About Daily Lumen
Daily Lumen is a Light Up puzzle, also called Akari. The grid is a room of white squares and black walls. Tap an empty square to place a lamp; its light runs along the row and column until a wall stops it. The goal is to light every white square without any two lamps shining into each other. A number on a wall says exactly how many lamps sit in the squares touching it, and a 0 means none.
Every day brings one fresh grid, the same for everyone in the world, seeded by the date. The week eases in and then leans on you: Gentle on Monday, then Easy, Breezy, Medium, Tricky and Knotty, and Fiendish on Sunday. There are no wrong moves and no clock pressure.
Each grid has a par time; landing on par earns three stars and beating it up to five, with tiers named Steady, Sharp, Swift and Flawless. The result card shows stars, time and streak without revealing the solution. Freeze tokens cover missed days, banking up to three, and two optional Game Center leaderboards track daily times and the longest streak.
The daily grid and Warm-up practice are free with no ads, no account and no tracking, and Lumen+ is a one-time purchase for harder practice. It is one of the single-puzzle daily apps from the maker of Daily Knot, and came out in June 2026.

Tips
- Mark the squares next to a 0 wall as empty first.
- A 4 wall, or a 3 against an edge, places its lamps at once.
- A dark square that only one empty square can light needs a lamp there.
- Lamps in long open rows rule out a lot of squares; place forced ones early.
