Dozenal
Join number tiles into groups that each add up to 12.
Every day: Three named grid puzzles a day (Easy, Medium and Hard), the same for everyone, in which you join number tiles into groups that each make 12. New puzzle: Once a day, by calendar date.

Dozenal is a grid number puzzle about twelves. The board is filled with numbered tiles, and you combine neighbouring tiles into regions that each add up to exactly 12, until the whole grid is covered. Each day brings an Easy, a Medium and a Hard puzzle, each with its own title.
About Dozenal
Dozenal describes itself as a puzzle game to find twelves. Each puzzle is a grid of number tiles. You link adjacent tiles into groups, and every group must add up to 12; a puzzle is solved when the whole board is split into such groups. The finished boards look like a set of coloured shapes, each marked 12.
The daily page offers three puzzles, Easy, Medium and Hard, and each has a name chosen by the setter, such as Logo variation, Freebie or Highway to hell. Everyone gets the same three on a given day. Below them, the archive lists previous days with your progress on each, and entering your email opens the full archive of several hundred puzzles and sends new ones to your inbox.
A practice puzzle on the home page teaches the rules, and there is a Learn how to play guide. It suits players who like Shikaku or Kakuro style partition puzzles with simple arithmetic.

Tips
- Start with large numbers: a 10 can only pair with tiles worth 2 in total.
- Tiles in corners have few neighbours, so solve them early.
- Count the total of a region before committing; it must be a multiple of 12 to split cleanly.
- Play the practice puzzle first to learn how groups are drawn.
