Name the day's Dead by Daylight killer, survivor, perk and map from clues and pictures.

Every day: Six puzzles a day, the same for every player: the day's Dead by Daylight killer from attribute clues, a killer from a blurred silhouette, a killer from a power icon behind tiles, a survivor from a blurred portrait, a survivor from a perk icon, and a map from a close-up that zooms out; Killer Challenge and Map Challenge add harder daily answers of their own. New puzzle: Midnight in your device's local time.

DBDLE is a free daily guessing game for Dead by Daylight players. Each day brings six puzzles: a killer from seven attribute clues, a killer from a silhouette or a power icon, a survivor from a portrait or a perk, and a map from a zooming picture, with unlimited guesses and a score counted in tries.

About DBDLE

DBDLE is a fan-made daily game about Dead by Daylight, in the style of Wordle and LoLdle. It is made by Tristan Lainé, a solo developer in France whose Taxon Games runs the same kind of daily game for Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant, Apex Legends and others. It is not affiliated with Behaviour Interactive.

The day has six puzzles. In Killer mode you type any killer's name and get a row of seven cells: gender, origin, power type, movement speed, terror radius, height and release year. Green is a match; an orange origin means a licensed killer from a different franchise, an orange power type the same broad family of power; arrows show whether speed, terror radius and year are higher or lower. Silhouette starts on a dark, blurred killer render, and Power hides one killer's power icon behind sixteen tiles. Survivor and Perk do the same for the survivors, with a blurred portrait and a signature perk icon. Map starts on a close-up of a realm and zooms out after each miss.

There is no guess limit and no game over: the score is the number of tries, and a share grid shows it without spoilers. Two bonus modes have their own daily answers: Killer Challenge, where a guess uncovers only one cell of its row, and Map Challenge, with a tighter crop, drained colour and a slower zoom. Solving one puzzle a day keeps a streak going, an archive replays past days, and groups and private matches let friends play the same puzzles.

It suits Dead by Daylight players who know both sides of the roster and the realms, and it takes longer than a one-puzzle daily. It runs in the browser, can be added to a phone's home screen, and keeps progress without an account.

How to play DBDLE

  1. Open dbdle.day and choose Killer mode.
  2. Type a killer's name in the search bar, which autocompletes, and press Guess.
  3. Read the seven cells: green is a match, orange is close for origin and power type, red is different, and arrows show whether speed, terror radius and release year are higher or lower.
  4. Keep guessing until the row is all green; your score is the number of tries.
  5. Play Silhouette, Power, Survivor and Perk, where each miss clears the blur or drops more tiles, and Map, where each miss zooms the picture out.
  6. Share your result and come back after local midnight for the next six.

Tips

  • Movement speed and terror radius split the roster quickly: open with a killer whose values are common, and let the arrows rule out the rest.
  • An orange origin tells you the answer is a licensed killer from another franchise, which leaves a short list.
  • In Map, read the light and the materials of the close-up before the zoom shows the layout.
  • In Perk mode, think about which survivor brought the perk, since the answer is the survivor, not the perk.
