Name the day's For Honor hero from clues, a silhouette and emojis, and find the map.

Every day: Four puzzles a day, the same for every player: the day's For Honor hero from attribute clues, a hero from a blurred silhouette, a hero from an emoji rebus, and a map from a close-up that zooms out; Hero Challenge and Map Challenge add harder daily answers of their own. New puzzle: Midnight in your device's local time.

ForHonorDLE is a free daily guessing game for For Honor players. Each day you find a hero from six attribute clues, from a blurred silhouette and from a growing emoji rebus, and name a map from a picture that zooms out, with unlimited guesses and a score counted in tries.

About ForHonorDLE

ForHonorDLE is a fan-made daily game about Ubisoft's For Honor, built in the style of Wordle and LoLdle. It is made by Tristan Lainé, a solo developer in France, as part of Taxon Games, which runs the same kind of daily game for Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch, Valorant, Apex Legends, Tekken and others. It is not affiliated with Ubisoft.

The day has four puzzles. In Hero mode you type any hero's name and get a row of six cells: faction, class, gender, weapon type, weapon range and release year. Green is a match and red a miss; weapon type turns orange when it partly overlaps, range when it is one step off, and the year shows an arrow for earlier or later. Silhouette starts on a dark, blurred full-body render that clears with each miss. Emoji shows one emoji hinting at the hero's faction, weapon or story, and adds another after every wrong guess. Map starts on a close-up of one battleground and zooms out a little each time you miss.

Guesses are unlimited and there is no game over: the score is how many tries it took, and a share grid shows it without spoilers. Two bonus modes have their own daily answers: Hero Challenge, where a guess uncovers only one cell of its row, and Map Challenge, which starts closer, drains the colour and zooms out over ten steps. Solving one puzzle a day keeps a streak going, the archive replays missed days, and groups and versus matches let friends compare scores with a nickname and no account.

It suits For Honor players who know the heroes of every faction and the maps they fight on. It runs in the browser on phone or PC and can be added to a home screen.

How to play ForHonorDLE

  1. Open forhonordle.day and choose Hero mode.
  2. Type a hero's name in the search bar, which autocompletes, and press Guess.
  3. Read the six cells: green is a match, orange a partial weapon match or a range one step off, red a miss, and an arrow for a later or earlier release year.
  4. Keep guessing until the row is all green; your score is the number of tries.
  5. Play Silhouette and Emoji to find a hero from a clearing blur or a growing line of emojis, and Map, where the picture zooms out after each miss.
  6. Share your result and come back after local midnight for the next four.

Tips

  • Faction is the first thing to pin down: once it is green, only a few heroes are left.
  • In Emoji mode, read the first emoji as a hint to the faction or the weapon before guessing a name.
  • In Map mode, read the materials, plants and light in the close-up before the zoom shows the layout.
  • Use the release year arrow to rule out whole groups of heroes added before or after your guess.
