Daily, at playdaily.org, gives everyone the same puzzle each day and ranks the scores worldwide. The game changes from day to day among six types, such as Word Hunt, Traffic Jam and Coin Maze, and you can play it casually or in a separate competitive version with a screen lock.

About Daily (playdaily.org)

Daily was made by two office workers who grew up on simple games and wanted one new puzzle a day for everyone to play together. The idea is a single shared puzzle: everyone plays the same one, so every score is comparable on a world leaderboard.

Six games take turns as the daily puzzle: Word Hunt, Traffic Jam, Tile Fit, Coin Maze, Air Hockey and Money Tycoon. Each day has two versions. Play Casual offers a daily puzzle you can replay as often as you like; Try Competitive is a separate ranked puzzle with scoring and a screen lock, and its results feed the top score, your percentile and your rank. The home page counts down to the next puzzle, and the site tracks streaks and six skill areas such as working memory and pattern recognition.

Alongside the daily the site hosts unlimited remakes of popular guessing games (Songless, Krillion, Bandle, Size It Up, Fermi, MapTap and others), a weekly Gauntlet, and an archive of past dailies, which is a Pro feature.

It suits players who like variety and competing on a single global ranking more than mastering one puzzle type.

Tips

  • Use the casual version to learn the day's rules before the ranked attempt.
  • Read the one-line goal on the puzzle card; each game type scores differently.
  • Competitive mode locks the screen, so play it when you will not be interrupted.
  • Come back daily: streaks and the skill profile build over time.
