Colorabl Easy board: three rings of purple, yellow, blue and green tiles around a purple centre, with the coming colour sequence at the top

Colorabl is a daily colour-matching puzzle on Puzzabl's round board of rings and segments. You spin the rings to line tiles up with the colour the centre is asking for, slide them in, and plan ahead so the board is clear before the centre's sequence runs out. Easy, Medium and Hard boards are new every day.

About Colorabl

Colorabl is the third daily game on Puzzabl, the independent puzzle site and app made by Richard Griffiths, after the number puzzle Sumabl and the word puzzle Spellabl. It uses the same round board: a circle split into rings and segments around a small centre, here with a colour in every tile.

The centre shows the colour it wants now, and a row at the top of the screen shows the colours it will want next. Dragging any tile left or right spins its ring by as many spaces as you like. When a tile on the inner ring matches the centre, you slide it in; if the tile behind it in the next ring is the same colour it follows, and so on, so a whole line of matching colours can clear in one move. Each slide changes the centre to the next colour in the sequence.

The aim is to clear every coloured tile from the board before the sequence runs out, so the puzzle is in the order of your spins: lining up long runs of one colour for the right moment, and not stranding a colour the centre will not ask for again. A counter tracks your moves and resets.

Each day brings three boards, Easy, Medium and Hard, and completing all three is the day's full set. A free account adds stats, streaks and leaderboards, including private ones for friends and family. It suits players who like short planning puzzles with a fixed solution, and the colours make each board quick to read.

How to play Colorabl

  1. Open Colorabl and choose Easy, Medium or Hard for today's board.
  2. Check the colour in the centre and the sequence of colours coming next at the top.
  3. Drag a tile left or right to spin its ring until a tile of the centre's colour sits on the inner ring.
  4. Slide it into the centre; matching tiles lined up behind it follow in the same move.
  5. Keep going until every coloured tile is cleared, then play the other two boards.

Tips

  • Read the whole centre sequence before your first move and count how many of each colour the board holds.
  • Line up several tiles of one colour across the rings so a single slide clears a whole line.
  • Leave tiles of a colour the sequence still asks for later; clearing them too early can leave a gap you cannot fill.
  • Moves and resets are counted, so try the board in your head before spinning if you want a clean score.

Questions

Is Colorabl free?

Yes. It is free on the web, iOS and Android; a free account adds stats, streaks and leaderboards.

How many Colorabl puzzles are there each day?

Three: Easy, Medium and Hard, each a different board.

How do you clear a tile?

Spin the rings until a tile of the centre's colour is on the inner ring, then slide it in. Matching tiles in line behind it follow.

Does Puzzabl have other daily games?

Yes. Sumabl uses the same round board with numbers, and Spellabl with letters that spell hidden words.
