Color Flood: Odyssey
Flood the map with colours to open a sea lane and sail Odysseus home.
Every day: One flood map a day, the same for everyone: flip colours from the top-left corner to open an unbroken sea lane to the bottom-right within the move limit. New puzzle: Midnight US Eastern Time.

Color Flood: Odyssey is a daily take on the flood-fill puzzle. Odysseus starts in the top-left corner and Ithaca is in the bottom-right; each move floods your region with a colour, absorbing every touching tile of that colour. Connect the corners with an unbroken line of blue sea tiles before your moves run out.
About Color Flood: Odyssey
Classic flood puzzles ask you to turn the whole board one colour. Color Flood: Odyssey changes the goal. You only need a sea lane: a chain of blue tiles linking Odysseus's port in the top-left corner to Ithaca in the bottom-right, moving up, down, left and right but never diagonally. The rest of the map can stay any colour, and a winning board is often mostly dry.
Each move, you tap a colour already touching your region, and the region plus every connected tile of that colour switches to it. Moves are limited to the par shown at the top, which is both your budget and your scoring target. Run out before the corners connect and Odysseus is adrift. Sea is scarce, and the final move of any solve has to be blue, so flooding away all the blue can strand him with no way to finish. A colour blind mode marks each terrain with its own shape, and Odysseus can narrate the voyage.

How to play Color Flood: Odyssey
- Open Color Flood: Odyssey on greatest.games.
- Tap a colour touching your region in the top-left; the region and all connected tiles of that colour flip to it.
- Grow your region toward the bottom-right corner.
- Keep enough blue tiles to finish: the last move must be sea.
- Connect the two corners with an unbroken line of blue before you run out of moves.
Tips
- Plan a narrow path, not a full flood; only the route home matters.
- Ration blue: do not flood away the sea tiles you need at the end.
- Diagonal contact does not count, so check every corner of your lane.
- Count the moves you have left against par before each tap.
Questions
Do I have to flood the whole map?
No. Only an unbroken line of blue from corner to corner matters.
How can I lose?
By using your whole move budget without connecting the corners, or by flooding away all the blue so no final sea move is possible.
When does Color Flood: Odyssey reset?
Every day at midnight US Eastern Time, with the same puzzle for everyone.
Is Color Flood: Odyssey free?
Yes. It plays free in the browser with no account. A free account unlocks the archive of past puzzles.
