Color Flood (Ponder Club)
Flood the whole board with one colour in as few moves as you can.
Every day: One colour board a day, the same for everyone, to flood with a single colour from the top-left corner within a move limit; past boards are in the archive. New puzzle: Midnight Pacific Time, as the site states.

Color Flood is the quickest daily game on Ponder Club. Your region starts in the top-left corner, and each colour you pick repaints it and absorbs every touching tile of that colour. Fill the board within the move limit; a new board comes out every day at midnight Pacific Time.
About Color Flood (Ponder Club)
Color Flood is a flood-fill puzzle from Ponder Club, a site of free daily games made by Calli and Eden at Flying Comet Games. The board is a grid of coloured tiles. Your flood starts at the top-left tile: tap a colour and your whole region changes to it, swallowing any neighbouring tiles of that colour, so the region grows with each move.
The goal is to turn the whole board one colour within the move limit, and the fewer moves the better. A move counter sits above the board with an Undo button, a How to guide and an accessibility toggle. It takes about a minute, which makes it the shortest of the site's games.
Each day has one board, the same for all players, and the site keeps leaderboards, comments and an archive of past boards. No account is needed; Ponder Club is free with ads, and a one-time purchase removes them. It suits players who like a short spatial puzzle with a bit of planning rather than a word game.
How to play Color Flood (Ponder Club)
- Open today's board; your region starts at the top-left tile.
- Tap a colour: your region changes to it and absorbs every touching tile of that colour.
- Keep choosing colours to grow the region across the board.
- Fill the whole board with one colour within the move limit, using Undo if a move went badly.
- Compare your move count on the leaderboard or play earlier boards from the archive.

Tips
- Pick the colour that absorbs the most tiles along the edge of your region, not just the nearest one.
- Head for the centre of the board early; growing a long thin strip leaves big pockets behind.
- Look a move ahead: a colour that opens a large patch next turn can be worth more than a small gain now.
- Leave isolated single tiles for the end, when they get swept up along the way.
