Circle Nine

The Circle Nine daily puzzle for October 2, 2026: a 9 by 9 grid of digits with some numbers circled in colour, level buttons 1 to 3 and Reset, Undo, Redo and Check buttons

Circle Moon Puzzles is an ad-free site of daily logic puzzles made by one developer. Each of its sixteen puzzle types, including Circle Nine, Circle Sum, Cross Factor, Pentominoes, Windowpane and Stitchwords, gets new puzzles every day, usually at three levels of difficulty.

About Circle Moon Puzzles

The site's address is named after Circle Nine, one of its puzzles: a grid of digits where you circle exactly one of each number from 1 to 9 so that every row, column and block holds exactly one circled number. Around it the developer, James Dewar, has added a shelf of other original and classic types, including Circle Nine Jigsaw, Circle Sum, Cross Factor, Letter Link, Matchbox, Pentominoes, Twinominoes, Windowpane, Stitchwords, the Blueberry family, Cherry, Ball Sort and a Solitaire.

Every type has its own daily page. The day's puzzles are chosen from the date, so everyone sees the same ones, and most types offer three levels, as Circle Nine does with levels 1, 2 and 3. Each page has the rules, and some link to video guides on the developer's YouTube channel, where he also shows how the puzzles are designed.

The site has no ads and needs no account. An optional yearly Plus upgrade, bought through Ko-fi with just an email address, unlocks unlimited additional puzzles beyond the dailies.

It suits players who like Nikoli-style grids and want variety: a handful of different short puzzles every day rather than one big one.

How to play Circle Moon Puzzles

  3. Choose the day's puzzle at level 1, 2 or 3.
  4. Solve it in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer and press Check when done.
  5. Come back tomorrow for new puzzles in every type.
