The Daily Baffle is a website and app with a set of original puzzles that refresh every day at midnight Eastern time. They include Pathword, where a path of letters must spell four words, Rubigram, where you rotate and flip tiles until every row and column is a word, Triword, Arithmeglyphs, Truthsorting and the Morphology word ladder.
About The Daily Baffle
The Daily Baffle is a collection of original daily puzzles, presented like a small newspaper puzzle page with a weekly piece of wisdom and a mock horoscope at the top. It is free on the web and as an app for iPhone, iPad and Android, which the App Store lists under Julian Eden.
Most puzzles change every day. Pathword asks you to lay a single path through a grid of letters so that it spells four words in turn. Rubigram gives you letter tiles that must be rotated and flipped until every row and column reads as a word. Triword asks for the word fragment that completes three other fragments. Arithmeglyphs is a maths-logic puzzle about completing number sequences from symbols, and Truthsorting asks you to order statements so that some come out true and others false. Pathword 5x5 and the larger Megarubigram run on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Morphology, a clued word ladder written by a range of constructors, ran with new puzzles from September 2025 to July 2026 and now shows re-runs. Solved puzzles show your time and a share button.
It suits solvers who want several short, inventive puzzles each morning rather than one big one.
