TIRDS
Three little word puzzles each day: tiles plus words.
Every day: A trio of three small word puzzles (a Daily Tird, numbered, for example Daily #52 on Friday, October 2). Each has a short clue and a set of tiles you arrange into the answer word on a small grid. The same trio is shared by everyone, resetting at your local midnight, and an Infinite mode is there for extra play. New puzzle: Daily at local midnight.

TIRDS gives you three short word puzzles each day. Each one has a playful clue, and you build the answer by placing letter tiles into a small grid. You get up to six free letters across the trio if you get stuck.
About TIRDS
TIRDS, short for tiles plus words, is a free daily word game in beta. Each day brings a trio of three small puzzles, labelled the Daily Tird and numbered by day, that everyone plays together.
Every puzzle starts with a short, often playful clue, such as "Grilled" or "Pick one: cake or ice cream?". Below it is a small grid and a set of letter tiles, and your job is to work out the word the clue points to and arrange the tiles to spell it in the right places. A beta player on the site describes it as a mix of a riddle, a crossword and multiple anagrams.
You solve the three puzzles in a sitting, with up to six free letters shared across the trio as hints when you are stuck. A new trio arrives at your local midnight, and a countdown on the page shows the time until the next one. For anyone who wants more, an Infinite mode offers extra puzzles beyond the daily set.
It suits players who like short clue-based word puzzles and anagrams and want a quick daily set rather than one long grid.
How to play TIRDS
- Open the Daily Tird to see the day's three puzzles.
- Read a puzzle's clue and work out the word it hints at.
- Arrange the letter tiles into the grid to spell that word.
- Tap for a free letter if you are stuck, up to six across the trio.
- Solve all three puzzles to finish the day's set.
Tips
- Treat the clue as a riddle first; the wording often points sideways at the answer.
- Count the tiles and grid spaces to fix the answer's length before guessing.
- Spread your six free letters carefully, since they are shared across all three puzzles.
