SNAP.FIT

Find it. Fit it. Snap it: a new seven-word grid every day.

Every day: One shared grid each day (labelled with the date, for example Daily 2026-10-02). You build seven words that interlock in the grid, each starting from a locked letter, and the letters where words cross become fixed clues for the words that remain. Everyone gets the same grid that day. New puzzle: Once a day.

SNAP.FIT daily grid for 2026-10-02 showing seven interlocking word slots with locked starting letters A, B, C and S

SNAP.FIT gives you one word grid a day with seven slots to fill. Each slot starts from a locked letter, and you plan a valid word that fits its length and shares crossover letters with the words it touches. You score on points and time, with a handful of hints to spend.

About SNAP.FIT

SNAP.FIT is a free daily word game played in the browser. Instead of solving clues, you are given a grid with seven word slots, each marked with its length and a locked starting letter. Your job is to think of a valid word that fits and snap it into place.

The slots cross one another, so a letter you place in one word becomes a fixed crossover letter for the word that passes through it. Solving one word therefore gives you clues toward the next, and the order you tackle them in matters. You can fill open squares in any order and press Enter to snap a word once it is complete.

Each day there is one shared grid, shown with the day's date and a grid number, and the page estimates about seven to ten minutes to finish. You track runs snapped, word points, time and a live score, and you have five hints that reveal unknown positions at a points cost.

It suits players who like Wordle-style daily word games but want something closer to building a small crossword from scratch, where planning a path through the grid is part of the challenge.

How to play SNAP.FIT

  1. Look at the day's grid and pick a word slot, each shown with its length and a locked first letter.
  2. Think of a valid word that starts with that letter and fits the length.
  3. Fill the open squares, respecting any fixed crossover letters already in place.
  4. Press Return to snap the word into the grid.
  5. Use the crossover letters it reveals to help solve the remaining words.

Tips

  • Start with the slot that has the most fixed crossover letters, since it is the most constrained.
  • Save hints for later words, as each hint costs points and never fills the locked starting letter.
  • Keep the whole grid in mind: a word that fits now can block a crossing word later.

Questions

Is there a new grid every day?

Yes. Each day has one shared grid, shown with the date and a grid number, the same for everyone.

Do the words come with clues?

No. You are given each word's length and its locked starting letter, plus any crossover letters from words you have already solved.

What do hints do?

You have five hints that reveal an unknown position in a word. They cost points and never spend on the locked starting letter or a fixed crossover.

Do I need an account?

No, though there is a save progress option if you want to keep your run.
