Word Fill-In (Puzzleship)
A criss cross crossword with no clues: place every word from the list.
Every day: Six numbered grids a day, from very easy to ultra hard and the same for everyone: fit every word from the Across and Down lists into the grid using length and crossings; past days are in an archive. New puzzle: Midnight in your own time zone, as the site states.

Word Fill-In is a crossword with the clues thrown away. You get an empty grid and the Across and Down words, and you work out which slot each belongs in from its length and the letters where words cross.
About Word Fill-In (Puzzleship)
Every word is used once and nothing is left over. Click a slot, choose a word that matches its length and any crossing letters, and keep going until the grid is full. Puzzle magazines often print it as a fill-in crossword.
Two aids sit behind the gear button: one marks a slot that can no longer be completed by any remaining word, without revealing the answer, and another, on by default, shows clashing letters in red and sinks those words to the bottom of the list. Starting with a length that has only one word gives you crossing letters for free.
Puzzleship publishes six grids of Word Fill-In a day, graded from very easy to ultra hard. Each day's grids are numbered and dated, the same for every player, and appear at midnight in your own time zone; earlier days stay playable in the archive. The site is free with ads, and a premium plan removes them.
