Wordrop daily puzzles on Puzzleship

Wordrop is a themed word search where letters fall. Each word you find is removed, the letters above drop into the space, and empty columns close up, so the board keeps changing. Exactly one answer is spelled out at any moment, and clearing it forms the next.

About Wordrop (Puzzleship)

A theme sits above the grid and the word list shows a row of blanks per answer, so you know each word's length. Answers run horizontally or vertically. After each clear the letters settle and a new answer appears, built from the remains of the last.

Since only one target is on the board at a time, there is nothing to prioritise. The skill is rereading after every collapse, in both directions, and noticing when a vanished column has pulled two distant columns together. When the grid gives nothing, the theme and the blank lengths narrow the search.

Puzzleship publishes six themed boards of Wordrop a day, graded from very easy to ultra hard. Each day's themed boards are numbered and dated, the same for every player, and appear at midnight in your own time zone; earlier days stay playable in the archive. The site is free with ads, and a premium plan removes them.

How to play Wordrop (Puzzleship)

  1. Open Wordrop and pick one of the day's six themed boards.
  2. Read the theme and the blank lengths.
  3. Click letters in sequence to spell the word that is on the board.
  4. Submit it and watch the letters fall and columns collapse.
  5. Find the next word in the new grid until every blank is filled.

Tips

  • Only one answer is on the board at a time; look for that one.
  • Reread rows and columns after every collapse.
  • Watch for columns that vanish and bring others together.
  • Use the theme and length when the grid looks empty of words.
