Every day: One dated mini escape room a day for everyone (Cloud Repair Dock Nine on 5 October): an illustrated scene with two small locks to open, such as aligning wind-vane dials with brass controls, with optional hints and no timer. New puzzle: Once a day, with each lock dated.

WitLocked's Daily Lock is a free mini escape room each day. A short story sets the scene, and you work through two little locks, each a mechanism puzzle with its own rule, to open it. It takes five to ten minutes, has no timer and needs no account.
About WitLocked Daily Lock
Each Daily Lock is a small illustrated mystery. On 5 October it was Cloud Repair Dock Nine, in which someone has installed the wind backwards, and it held two locks: Align the wind vanes, then Patch only the safe clouds. The first lock gave a row of dials and brass controls, with the rule that each control turns its labelled dials a quarter-turn clockwise, and asked you to point every dial at its target.
The game's own guide puts it in three steps: explore the scene and its story for details, connect the clues by trying patterns, symbols and the objects in the room, and open the lock with what you find. All clues are supplied in the scene, there is no timer, and an optional hint is there if you get stuck. Locks open one after another, and an archive keeps past days.
Daily Lock is part of WitLocked, a site of free daily puzzles that also runs a Quote Puzzle and a True Clue deduction each day, plus a longer Weekly Escape. It is aimed at escape-room fans, families and puzzle-loving children, solo or together. Playing is free with no sign-in; an optional account saves rewards, and the site also sells printable Case Files.
