Wally and the FANTASTIC PREDATORS is made by Oscar Gonzalez and released on Steam in September 2019 for Windows, Mac and Linux. Its store page is written in the same goofy voice as the game, which calls itself a weird game wearing the skin of a traditional rogue-lite. The developer is known for staying close to the community on Discord.

You play as Wally, a predatory fox who breaks into animals' homes and takes their money, descending through floors of a hard, fast-paced dungeon. Movement is smooth and responsive, there are many upgrades that change how you play, and when you die the run is over. The humour runs to extremes, such as a dungeon where everything turns into the letter A.

Daily runs add a unique twist every day, such as starting with maximum movement speed or overloaded with bombs, and they are tuned harder than normal runs. While you play a daily you can see your current rank and how many points you need to pass the next player, with a notification each time you overtake someone. The top three each day earn an in-game reward, and a weekly run offers a permanent skin to its top three.

There is also local co-op. It suits roguelite fans who enjoy chaos and silly humour, and anyone who likes racing other players on a fresh daily twist.
