About ULTRAKIDLE

ULTRAKIDLE takes the -dle format to ULTRAKILL, the fast first-person shooter by Arsi Hakita Patala published by New Blood Interactive. The site is styled like a machine's terminal, with its modules reporting READY, streaks, and counts of how many players cleared or were terminated by the day's mission.

There are two daily missions. Classic is an enemy guessing game: each guess shows how the enemy you named compares with the answer on attributes such as type, weight and health, and you have a limited number of attempts. InfernoGuessr shows five screenshots of ULTRAKILL levels taken by the community, and you work out which level each comes from, scoring more the less time you take; the home page shows the day's average score. Both change at midnight UTC-6.

Beyond the dailies there is Cybergrind, an endless mode named after the game's own arena, a rank system, a gallery of InfernoGuessr shots and pages listing enemies and levels. ULTRAKIDLE is made by a fan, ikz87, with its Discord community, and can also be installed on Discord. It is not official and is supported through Ko-fi.

How to play ULTRAKIDLE

1. Open ultrakidle.online and press Play, then choose Classic or InfernoGuessr.
2. In Classic, type an ULTRAKILL enemy and read how its type, weight, health and other attributes compare with the answer.
3. Narrow it down and name the enemy within your attempts.
4. In InfernoGuessr, look at each of the five screenshots and pick the level it was taken in, as quickly as you can.
5. Check your streak and points, then try Cybergrind for more.

Tips

• Start Classic with an enemy from the middle of the roster so the comparisons cut both ways.
• Weight and health clues separate husks, machines and demons quickly.
• In InfernoGuessr, look at lighting and textures first: each layer of the game has its own palette.
• Speed counts in InfernoGuessr, so do not dwell on one screenshot.
