Silksongdle is a set of daily guessing games built on Hollow Knight: Silksong. Each day you name a mystery character from its traits, an enemy from the Hunter's Journal, a location, a tool, a silhouette and a voice line, with past days kept in an archive.

About Silksongdle

Silksongdle takes the -dle formula into Pharloom, the world of Hollow Knight: Silksong. Instead of one puzzle it sets several each day, each with its own answer: a character, an enemy from Hornet's Hunter's Journal, a location, a tool, a silhouette and a voice line.

The classic mode works like other attribute games: you name any character and compare their traits with the day's answer until you find it. The other modes lean on the game's art and sound, asking you to recognise a place from a view of it, an enemy or character from its outline, or a speaker from a line of dialogue. Each mode has its own countdown to the next answer, and a give-up button reveals the day's answer if you are stuck.

An archive lets you play earlier days, and atlas pages list the characters and tools the game draws on, with filters by area and type. The site is free with ads. It suits players who have explored Pharloom closely and remember the journal entries as well as the bosses.

How to play Silksongdle

  1. Open the classic mode and type the name of any Silksong character.
  2. Compare the traits shown with the day's answer and guess again.
  3. Switch to the journal, location, tool, silhouette and voice line modes for the day's other puzzles.
  4. Use the give-up button only if you want to reveal an answer and end that mode.
  5. Come back after the countdown for new answers, or play past days from the archive.

Tips

  • Use the character atlas to learn how the traits are labelled before you start.
  • In the location mode, the colours and background often tell you the region.
  • Bosses and named characters are only part of the pool; journal entries cover common enemies too.
