Terrariadle's Terraria Connections board: sixteen tiles such as Xenopopper, Cosmic Car Key, Squire Shield and Drum Set over a Terraria landscape, with four hearts for attempts left

Terrariadle is a free set of five daily puzzles about the sandbox game Terraria. Each day you guess a weapon from its traits, sort sixteen Terraria things into four groups, name the NPC behind a quote, find an enemy's name in Hangman and build seven Terraria terms from letter chunks.

About Terrariadle

Terrariadle is a fan-made puzzle site built around Terraria. Its maker describes it as a solo passion project and a remake of an earlier fan game, Terradle, expanded with more modes; the full source code is public on GitHub. The current version calls itself new and improved and lists five games on its front page.

The Daily Slash is the one closest to the -dle games: you pick any weapon from a search list, and each guess shows the weapon's traits on red, yellow or green backgrounds against the hidden one. A progress bar unlocks three hints as you go, the mode the weapon is obtained in, its weapon type and an image clue. The page also shows how many people have found today's weapon and what yesterday's was.

Connections is a Terraria take on the New York Times game: sixteen tiles, four hidden groups such as slime drops, shark types or rarity colours, and four mistakes allowed. Guess the NPC shows one line of dialogue and asks which townsperson said it, followed by a bonus round to pick the name that NPC could have. Hangman hides an enemy or boss name, and six wrong letters hang the Guide. TerraTrivia works like Seven Little Words: seven clues, letter chunks to combine, and each solved term fills its row.

All five reset together at midnight UTC, and the site counts down to the next set once you finish. It suits players who know Terraria's items, enemies and townsfolk well, since none of the answers can be worked out without that knowledge.

How to play Terrariadle

  1. Open Terrariadle and pick one of the five games from the front page or the icons at the top.
  2. In Daily Slash, type and choose a weapon; read the red, yellow and green traits and open hints as the bar fills.
  3. In Connections, select four tiles you think share something and check them; you can make four mistakes.
  4. In Guess the NPC, read the quote and type the NPC's trade, then pick their possible name from four options.
  5. In Hangman, pick letters to spell the enemy before six misses; in TerraTrivia, join letter chunks to form the seven clued terms.

Tips

  • In Daily Slash, staffs and wands share a type, repeaters and crossbows count as bows, and lances count as spears, so plan guesses around those groups.
  • Two weapons can share every trait; only the 'You Got It' prompt means you found the right one.
  • Connections groups have no colour tiers, and categories can be loose, such as critters of one biome or bonus drops of one enemy.
  • In TerraTrivia the letter counts beside each clue narrow which chunks can fit; many words can be built but only Terraria terms count.
  • Santa Claus is never the answer in Guess the NPC.
