Turn Order
Rate itChoose which piece moves next and put every piece on its matching beacon.
Every day: One numbered board a day for everyone (#31 on 5 October 2026): put every coloured piece on its matching beacon in as few moves as you can, then compare with the optimal count and the daily average. New puzzle: Once a day; a Next puzzle countdown shows when.

Turn Order is a daily move puzzle from Morrowcade. Coloured arrow pieces sit on a grid: sliders glide until blocked, pushers step one square or shove the piece ahead, and each turns around after acting. Your job is to choose the order so every piece lands on its beacon in as few moves as possible.
About Turn Order
Turn Order is played on a six by six grid with a few coloured pieces, each pointing in a direction, and a dashed beacon of the same colour for each. Tapping a piece makes it act. A slider, marked S, glides in its direction until something blocks it and then turns around. A pusher, marked P, steps one square, or pushes the piece in front of it one square, and then turns around. Dark hatched squares are walls.
Because every piece turns around after it moves, the order in which you activate them is the whole puzzle. A piece may have to leave its beacon, or wait to become someone else's blocker, before the board can be solved. Undo and Restart reset the board but do not take moves off your count, so planning ahead pays.
When you finish, the game shows your moves against the optimal number and the day's average and number of solves, and you can watch the optimal solution and share your result. The first puzzle was on 5 September 2026, and an archive lets you replay every earlier board without changing that day's statistics.
How to play Turn Order
- Open Turn Order and look at the pieces, their arrows and their matching dashed beacons.
- Tap a piece to activate it: sliders glide until blocked, pushers move or push one square, and each then turns around.
- Choose the order of activations so that every piece ends on its own beacon.
- Use as few moves as you can; undo and restart do not remove moves already made.
- Compare your total with the optimal and the daily average, then share or watch the optimal solution.

Tips
- Plan before you tap: every move counts, even ones you undo.
- Remember that each piece turns around after acting, so its second move goes the other way.
- Look for pieces that must serve as blockers for others before they go home.
- Play a few archive boards to learn how sliders and pushers interact.
Questions
What is the difference between a slider and a pusher?
A slider glides until something blocks it; a pusher moves one square or pushes the piece ahead of it. Both turn around after acting.
Does Undo take back moves?
Undo changes the board, but moves already made still count toward your result.
Can I play earlier puzzles?
Yes, the archive has every puzzle since #1 on 5 September 2026; archive results do not change that day's statistics.
Is Turn Order free?
Yes, it is a free browser game.
